This privacy policy explains how ETLS – EuroTrade Logistic Solutions processes personal data when you visit etls.net, contact us, respond to our ads or become a customer. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Swedish law.

What we collect

  • Contact and quote requests – name, company, email, phone number and what you write in the form or by email.
  • Forms in our Facebook and Instagram ads – name, company, email, phone number and your answers to the form questions.
  • Customers and suppliers – contact persons’ names, roles and contact details, and data needed for contracts, deliveries and invoicing.
  • Website visits – technical data such as IP address, browser, device and how you use the site. Analytics and marketing cookies are only used if you accept them.

Why we process data and on what legal basis

  • Answering enquiries and preparing quotes – legitimate interest, or steps prior to entering a contract.
  • Delivering our services and managing the customer relationship – performance of a contract.
  • Accounting and invoicing – legal obligation (Swedish Bookkeeping Act).
  • Website analytics – your consent via the cookie settings.
  • Marketing and ad measurement (Google Ads, Meta) – your consent via the cookie settings.
  • Contacting businesses that have shown interest in our services – legitimate interest. You can ask us to stop at any time.

How long we keep data

  • Enquiries that do not lead to business are kept for a maximum of 24 months.
  • Customer data is kept for the duration of the contract and thereafter as long as needed to handle any claims.
  • Accounting records are kept for 7 years under the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.
  • Cookies are kept for the periods shown in the cookie settings.

Who we share data with

We never sell your personal data. We only share it with service providers that help us run the business, and they may only use it on our behalf: Automattic / WordPress.com (website hosting), Titan (email), Google (analytics and advertising, with your consent), Meta (Facebook and Instagram advertising and ad forms, with your consent or when you submit a form), Ongoing (warehouse management system, for customers’ stock and order data) and carriers (when we ship goods for customers).

Some of these providers may process data outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA. Such transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Cookies

Necessary cookies are required for the website to work and do not require consent. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) and marketing cookies (Google Ads, Meta pixel) are only used if you accept them in the cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the page.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, have inaccurate data corrected, have data erased, restrict or object to processing, receive your data (data portability) and withdraw consent. Contact us at info@etls.net.
